Volkswagen Score Competition 2007

I have been selected as one of three finalists in the Volkswagen Score Competition, which takes place within the context of the Berlin International Film Festival 2007. I will be travelling to Berlin in February in order to record and dub my original music for three film clips with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra.

The Charles Hazlewood Christmas Show

In December 2006, I wrote a new, original arrangement of We Wish You a Merry Christmas for the Charles Hazlewood Christmas Show, aired on Christmas Day 2006 on BBC Radio 2. My arrangement was scored for an ensemble of solo singers, children's choir, saxes, horn, percussion, Hammond Organ and strings, and was the finale of the show. I also performed in the show as Hammond Organist and classical/jazz pianist, accompanying soul diva Mica Paris in a performance of God Bless the Child and classical singer Matthew Sharp in Errolyn Wallen's new carol, "Peace on Earth" and Richard Strauss's "Weihnachtsgefuhl".
